How to Discover and Valuate the NFTs? Using NFTGO to Identify Latest Trends

From Beeple’s sky-high auction to the sale of the first piece of web source code, NFT has seen explosive growth. However, while everyone is paying attention to talking about it, it seems that the NFT world is becoming more fragmented. For example, as far as we know, there are already hundreds of NFT marketplace of game, art, etc. There are also various projects on different chains, Ethereum, Flow, etc.

Many friends always raised similar questions when chatting with me. As investors, they want to grasp the latest trend of NFT assets. And they often ask, which NFT assets should I hold? What is the valuation of these assets? For newcomers to NFT, they want to understand what NFT is? How to buy NFTs with a low threshold? What are the NFT trends? And, what is the most popular NFT?

As we all know, since the birth of digital assets, CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko has become a portal for searching NFT-related data, knowledge and information. Such a platform is often referred to as a “data aggregator”. Aggregator can help users directly capture the value of most content. For example, Google aggregates the content of different websites and Amazon aggregates thousands of businesses and users.

NFT items, assets, and transaction information from different chains can be provided to users through aggregators. In addition, the data aggregation platform can be expanded to include the function of asset management, helping users to better hold and manage NFT assets.

NFT industry urgently needs a gateway to NFT ecosystem to provide users with the lowest threshold of NFT data and information aggregation services, to help popularize, promote and trade NFT assets, and to deeply integrate various NFT usage scenarios.

A User-friendly interface and comprehensive cross-chain data are essential to help everyone better research NFT industry dynamics, current hotspots, project data, etc..

Visualization of Market Data

A week ago, NFT Labs was invited to participate in a beta release activity, it was really surprising to find a good tool, and here to share with everyone.

The visualization interface of NFT market data across the network is very useful. Real-time NFT trading and asset data across the network allows everyone to gain insight into current NFT market trends and to make better investment decisions.

When you enter the market data page, you can see a direct and concise overview of the latest NFT market data, including NFT market capitalization, total trading volume, total trading volume, and the number of NFTs and their holders. Also, you can quickly view the market data trend for the past 7/30/90 days. Through this macro data, you can see the NFT market trends and make your own investment strategies.

NFT Liquidity

NFT liquidity is a really great indicator that I have never seen in other platforms. Liquidity is generally a reflection of turnover rate in NFT. The concept of turnover rate is common in the stock market, where the turnover rate is usually used to measure the liquidity of a stock. A higher turnover rate means that the stock is more actively traded, of higher overall quality and more valuable as an investment.

The concept of liquidity is similar. It is so wonderful to be able to measure the ability of NFT to liquidate smoothly at a reasonable price based on this metric. Especially for those who do not plan to hold NFT for a long time and want to make profits from NFT trading, the liquidity indicator is really one of the metrics that should be paid attention to.

NFT Value Share

These pie charts are also very interesting. With just a glance, everyone can quickly understand the current NFT market distribution and popular projects. The current market for NFT can basically be categorized as Collections, Game, Art, Metaverse and DeFi. It is clear to see NFT collections that occupy half of the NFT market and the hottest NFT projects at the moment.

Whether for a newcomer or an investor, this data can help quickly establish a basic knowledge of the NFT world. At the same time, by viewing the changes in the ratio also allows NFT fans to quickly discover the hot projects first and perceive the NFT market trends.

NFT Ranking

The second feature I must mention is the NFT ranking, this ranking different from some other rankings is that, it has covered the most comprehensive dimensions of all NFTs including high-value projects and assets, NFT whales, NFT Tokens, NFT hodlers across the network.

The pie charts and graphs above are some of the macro dimensions, while these rankings expand the boundaries at a micro level.

The most typical is this chart of NFT projects, which allows you to view the overall market ranking or select a sub-category to explore further, DeFi, Metaverse, Game, Collections, Art, IP, Utility, and Social.

At the same time, this list provides three time spans of 1 day/7 days/1 month, making it easy to view popular projects from different time dimensions.

In addition to dimensions such as NFT value/growth/traders/volumn, it also incorporates the liquidity indicator mentioned before. Through the ranking, you can quickly find the NFT projects with the highest liquidity in the current market and capture the potential investment opportunities.

Track Whales

The Whale Ranking is a highlight.

This is more than a simple ranking of whale positions, but also a quick way to know the number and value of NFTs held by whales, and then to get a glimpse of the specific NFTs held by whales and their buying trends. Some of our friends do choose to follow the whales and learn the movements of important players in the market, which is a key part of exploring market trends.

Although this does not constitute a scientific basis for investment, you may be able to find some investment opportunities by understanding which NFTs are held by the whales and which NFTs are purchased or sold.

NFT Search Engine

Nowadays, there are so many NFT projects. Therefore, I really hope that there will be a “Google” for NFT where we can search NFT assets on the whole network. Here is one of my favorite features — NFT search engine, and most importantly, both NFT metadata and natural languages could be used to search NFTs.

Each NFT has its own Metadata URl, which presents detailed information about the NFT, such as the NFT’s name, description, URL of the image, and special attributes. Take Cryptopunks as an example, each punk has different colors, shapes, names, etc. Searching by metadata helps users target NFTs more quickly.

For example, by typing “Bored Ape Yacht Club” in the search box, we can see assets from all over the web. For the massive search results, you can further refine them by filtering dimensions of category/project/blockchain in the left column. It is also possible to sort by current price/ creation time/ transaction time. Targeting the search scope precisely really saves me a lot of time.

Clicking into a single NFT asset, we can learn about not only its basic properties, but also all the historical transaction information, including the number of transactions, transaction time, historical price, historical holders, etc.. When making NFT purchase decisions, you can also refer to the historical information of that NFT, especially the historical holders. It is worth mentioning that whether an NFT has been held by a whale or a celebrity may also be a key decision basis for NFT valuation.

Besides data dimensions, let’s talk about the data depth. On NFT project detail pages, there is basic information about this project, as well as the current market performance, such as market value, trading volume, number of NFTs issued, holders and liquidity.

NFT Wallet

Finally, let’s talk about NFT wallet. I bought some Lands from the Sandbox, but I haven’t paid attention to them for a long time due to the lack of a convenient wallet management. The overall experience of this wallet is good, it is predictable that viewing and managing NFT assets will be convenient.

There is also a small feature that allows you to quickly filter by category/project/blockchain if you hold many NFTs. Of course, you can search keywords directly.

Well, you must want to know what this platform is. In fact, it has not been officially released yet. The link is: https://nftgo.io/
